An exploration of human bodies and the variety and energy they represent.
Snails are special and carry the wisdom of slowness and resilience in their shells. While living abroad, I created a small snail herd and gifted them to friends along the way. My snails are now dispersed across continents, reminding people to value slowness, something that our society does not often recognize as important.
Snail Dispersion
This collection arranges small moments where people reflect their environment or their environment reflects them. It encourages us to pay attention to our surroundings and displays the subtle intrigue and amusement we can find when we do.
Parallels
While living in Cortona, Italy, something that brought me peaceful grounding in an unfamiliar place was the plant life. I wanted to create a body of work studying and celebrating some of my favorite botanicals, portraying the softness and complexity of each one.
